Altar Servers Once a young boy or girl is in the second grade and has received First Communion, he/she may step forward to serve mass. Training sessions are held on an annual basis for kids who want to learn to serve. Servers are asked to be available for Sunday mass, and some weddings. Adults serve weekday masses. Hopefully, serving is also a learning experience about faith, our Catholic Church, and what it means to worship together. Scheduling is up to each child. With as many servers as we have, servers are scheduled about once a month. There is an annual outing for the kids and all our families. If you wish to be an altar server, you’re more than welcome to join up. |
