Charismatic Prayer Prayer and service are the two most powerful and trustworthy signs of a parish’s state of health. Our charismatic prayer group meets once a week, usually on Tuesday evenings to pray for any needs brought to its attention by word of mouth or by intentions placed in the parish prayer box. All meetings begin with praise songs and scripture. The prayer box is brought forth during the Preparation of the Gifts and mentioned during the General Intercessions at each mass on the weekend. You are most welcome to attend, to observe, and/or participate in the prayer meeting. At times, if requested, we would include the Laying on of Hands, as well as Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The meeting generally lasts one hour or so. Check with the bulletin or rectory as to when they meet. |
