Sacramental Preperation

As a Eucharistic faith community, when one receives a sacrament, all celebrate. Hence the members of St. Paul’s are invited to the liturgical celebrations of the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, which are usually celebrated when children are in the second grade; and Confirmation, when children are in Grades 8 or 9. Readiness is a key factor when considering the reception of these sacraments. Households with youth who are eligible must be attending TRE sessions on a regular basis, before, during, and after experiencing sacraments. Those who have not been regular attendees will have to speak to the Pastor and Director of Religious Education to decide what further arrangements need to be made. In addition, a special schedule of sacramental preparation classes for recipients and parents must be followed.
